I read pretty much any chance I get. I mostly read YA books but some adult ones as well. To me all books are precious gems and are meant to be treasured.

TGIF & Weekly Recap (11):

TGIF is hosted by Ginger at Greads. It's about recapping on what we posted for the week, and also asking our readers a book related question. The question posted by Ginger today is?

To-Be-Read's: How big is your pile? Which book keeps getting pushed down the stack, but you keep meaning to read it?

I would say that my TBR is about 70-80 books, and that is my physical books.
Most of them are my own, or books I have won. In these pictures a few of the books I have already read are mixed in.

This is the same pile just showing more of the bottom on the left and top on the right. I have maybe 20 books on my nook I still need to read as well but most of those are my own too. I have about 6 review books in my TBR, so not to many of those so far, but that can change in the blink of an eye.

As far as books that keep getting put towards the bottom. It would be the books I own when I have others that have deadlines. Sadly two of those books that keep getting pushed back are Forever by Maggie Stiefvater and Wolfsbane by Andrea Cremer. I know I am horrible. I love both of these authors and these series. I just don’t want to be rushed when I plan to read them. I want to be able to take my time.

I am hoping to get to these in December. It is my birthday month and I plan on making it Vampire month since I love vampires, and it is what got me into reading again in the first place. I also plan on reading a few of the books I have put off that I so want to read, and any review books I get around that time.

What does your TBR pile look like? Let me know in the comments!

  4. I have a problem with buying books too! But they're mostly ebooks - so I have no visual reminder of them...so obv. I assume I can just keep on buying, lol.

@Tina - we so need an AA of some kind!

  5. Thinking about my TBR pile makes me slightly anxious, and I'm SO GLAD I can't photograph them like you did since mine are mostly Kindle-fied. But it looks like you have a ton of good books ahead of you!

My TGIF is over here if you'd like to stop by! Happy Friday!

  6. I had the exact same concerns as you did about the music aspect of it! I'm not a huge music person, so I was afraid that it would be difficult for me to relate to it.
