I always adore the Fallen covers. It is what brought me to the series in the first place. This cover is just gorgeous. I can't wait for this book, and to find out about the other romances that bloom in the book, This book comes out just in time to read before or for Valentine's Day !!! My Thoughts:

O my goodness! O my goodness! I can't not wait for this book. I love the Fallen series and the covers are so beautiful. I do have to admit I was expecting something a bit more dramatic for this final cover; maybe Luce and Daniel holding each other, or fire and chaos, or something. So I am a bit disappointed, but this cover is still very beautiful, and it does go with the others. It will look nice with the others on the bookshelf. Again I cannot wait to see how this epic love story ends. I hope that all my questions are answered.

I love that J. L. Bryan made a character I hate so much. Out of all the characters I dislike she tops the list. But I do have to admit the books would not be the same without her.

There is actually nothing to recap. I haven't done a post in a week exacally. I am super sorry to those who have missed me and my posts I have been a real busy!

Over the weekend I spent time with family, hung out with my bestie, and went to a baby shower. Then during the week; babysat, went to a job interview, and I have been dealing with family issues. So I am very sorry the blog has been boring the past week. I hope to get back on track next week!!!

Gateway Books: Which particular books opened you up to a new genre?

I am not sure if all of the genres I mention are true genres, but these are the first books in those genres that keep me coming back for more.

Young Adult/ Vampire:

~ The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer

This was the series that got me to fall in love with young adult books, and fall in love with reading all over again. I read before this series, but not with as much passion as I do now. These were also my first vampire books, and after reading these I wanted more so I read; The Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris, The Blue Blood Series by Melissa de la Cruz, Vampire Diaries & Night World by L. J. Smith, and The House of Night Series by P. C. Cast. Reading these also introduced me to The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare because Stephanie Meyer loved the books.

~ Breathe by Abbi Glines &

 Anna & the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

I loved, loved, loved both of these, and would recommend them to anyone. I was all about supernatural books until I read these, and now I want more like them.

First Zombie Book:

~ Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan

This book was good, but not quite what I was expecting. I think its because zombies are pretty gruesome and gross, but now I am loving the zombie genre.

Mermaids:

~ The Fins are Forever Series by Tera Lynn Childs

These were my first mermaid books and I really enjoyed them. I can't wait to read more in this series, and also in the Mermaid genre.

Mythology:

~ The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter

I loved Mythology in school when I was younger. The Goddess Test is a wonderful read and brought that love back to the surface. I can't wait to read more books like this, and the second in the series.

Fairies:

~ The Wicked Lovely Series by Melissa Marr

I really enjoyed this series, and the covers are beautiful. This series has made me want to read more of the Fae.

Paranormal:

~ Jenny Pox by J. L. Bryan &

Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake

I loved both of these books, and both are totally different. They are both spooky and good. I can't wait to read more in each series, and in this genre.

Angels:

~ The Fallen Series by Lauren Kate

Fallen was my first angel book. Since reading Fallen I have read so many more. Mercy by Rebecca Lim and Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick just to name a few. I love this genre. It is my favorite next to Vampires, and if you know me you know how much I love Vampires.

Historical Fiction:

~ Legacy by Cayla Kluver &

Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren

I really enjoyed Legacy and loved, loved, loved Waterfall. I can't wait to read more in both of these series, and more in the genre.

Dystopian:

I haven't really read anything in this genre yet, but will be this month because I made it Dystopian Month!!!

~ Divergent by Veronica Roth &

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

These are two of the dystopian novels I plan on reading this month!!!!!

My Thoughts:

Well....... tempting fate, stolen kisses, passion, desire and love? The first book just sounds yummy! Also there is just something about that cover that is simple yet elegantly beautiful.  As for the second book, I have been wanting Wader Dust for a while now. Mystery, secret societies, escaping death, and a yummy guy sign me up! Both of these come out soon so if you like what you read you don't have to wait long!

Super excited for this one! I can't wait to read it. I am hoping I can add it to my December TBR. It sounds like a very exciting and unique story. I am also loving the cover. If you have been waiting for this go, go now and get it because it is out today!!!!
