Now for My Mini Read-a-thon:
Aug. 8th - 15th
So I am way behind on my reading because of my surgery. So me and one of my bookish BFFs were talking, and we both decided to do a personal read-a-thon this week. We have a goal set up and we will be holding each other accountable. Please check out Laura's awesome blog The Reading Nook, and her goal this week. Also she has a giveaway going too, you could win Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles!
The Goal:
These are the books I plan to get done this week.
1. Finish Legacy by Cayla Kluver = 123 pages left
2. Zombies Don't Cry by Rusty Fischer = 371 pages
3. The Forest of Adventures by Katie M. John = 196 pages
4. Ultraviolet by R. J. Anderson = 314 pages
5. Breath by Abbi Glines = 219 pages
So Over All: 5 books & 1223 pages.
Be looking for an update sometime in the middle of the week !!!
Awesome giveaway Laura and congrats on making it to 50 followers:) I'm not entering, I already have this one, but I would say right now my favorite book of 2011 would either be Kiss of Snow by Nalini Singh or Anna Dressed in Blood:) Good luck on getting all your books read too!
ReplyDeletehey love bug!! thanks for the awesome giveaway!! and yay for our readathon!!!
ReplyDeleteThereadingnook123@gmail.com and my favorite book of 2011 so far is shine by lauren myracle
I found this at just the right time, my TBR pile is out of control. My birthday is this month so I always stock pile in August too. Oh, I could go on forever about why I need this mini read-a-thon. I'm participating, but I don't need to be entered in the giveaway - I'm lucky enough to have a signed copy of Shiver (thanks to Fountain Bookstore in Richmond). Anyway, thanks for hosting and I'll be interested to see how everyone does. Good Luck!

My absolute fav book I've read in 2011 (I don't know if it was published in 2011) was The Passage by Justin Cronin. AMAZING book!

Great giveaway!! I'm not a big fan of this series (so I'm won't be entering), but I wanted to say congrats!
ReplyDeleteI need to have a read-a-thon of my own this week! I'm having something of a reading slump and I need to get through some books badly! I may try to do that the next couple days! We'll see how it goes...

I think my favorite book of 2011 is between two books that i've read this year. Those are "The Pearl Savage" By Tamara Rose Blodgett and "An Apple For Zoe" By Thomas Amo. They are total opposited of each other. Ones super scary and the other is lovey dovey with some scary parts, but mostly action.
BTW AWESOME giveaway!! So excited to be entering =D
