I read pretty much any chance I get. I mostly read YA books but some adult ones as well. To me all books are precious gems and are meant to be treasured.

TGIF & Weekly Recap (16):

TGIF is hosted by Ginger at Greads. It's about recapping on what we posted for the week, and also asking our readers a book related question. The question posted by Ginger today is?

Love ~ Hate Relationship: Which characters from a book do you love to hate?

Ashleigh Goodling

From the Jenny Pox series by J. L. Bryan

A beautiful, sweet looking girl from Fallen Oak, South Carolina.

Class President
Head of the Cool Crusaders Club at her school
Daughter of the preacher

But don't let her sweet appearance, and manners fool you. On the inside she's manipulative, selfish, and evil and ugly as the plague. Her touch spreads love, but it is quite ironic, because her heart is a shriveled black prune. She manipulates people into doing what she wants, and doesn't care how far she must go to get to her goals.

I love that J. L. Bryan made a character I hate so much. Out of all the characters I dislike she tops the list. But I do have to admit the books would not be the same without her.

There is actually nothing to recap. I haven't done a post in a week exacally. I am super sorry to those who have missed me and my posts I have been a real busy!

Over the weekend I spent time with family, hung out with my bestie, and went to a baby shower. Then during the week; babysat, went to a job interview, and I have been dealing with family issues. So I am very sorry the blog has been boring the past week. I hope to get back on track next week!!!

Hope everyone is having a good week!! Happy Reading !!!

  1. I cant wait to read Jenny Px, I just downloaded it for my Nook...;)

I know what you mean about a character you hate but kind of made the story. Thats how I felt about Hilly from The Help, she was so awful but it wouldn't have been the book it was without her.

  2. Oh man. Ashleigh Goodling. If I could reach in those books and punch her in the face, I absolutely would. I'm not a violent person, but she brings it out in me for sure!
